Hello, I’m Junyeop Kim, working under the name 𝑴𝑨𝑷𝑺𝒀𝑪𝑶𝒀. 𝑴𝑨𝑷𝑺𝒀+𝑪𝑶𝒀 began with “맵시,” a Korean word for form, style, and subtle presence. The “𝑪𝑶𝒀” part adds a quieter meaning: reserved, restrained, and not fully revealed at once. Together, 𝑴𝑨𝑷𝑺𝒀𝑪𝑶𝒀 became a name for visual works, unfinished thoughts, and questions that are still taking shape.
